Even if he didn't loot, shadowbat told him repeatedly to back away from the Chask fight. He didn't listen. And the disrespectful way he spoke toward JamesSpeed was intolerable.

I don't know if the situation has changed yet, but surely the default position is innocent until found guilty. On the other hand, there doesn't seem to be any doubt about the inappropriate behaviour, and perhaps it reflects badly on the guild if we do nothing. So for now, I think that the least severe option. But that's just me: maybe something more severe if more info turns up...

I'm going to pick option number 2, but I think a warning to him after this might be appropriate, something to the effect of, "Do this again and we will kick you out."

For those who are not aware, I would like to point out that he is a ten year old kid. He has some trouble understanding what he is being told. As a father of two with countless young kids part of my extended family and as the son of a psychologist I know that a kid that young does not understand many concepts that older persons take for granted. I see no reason to allow this behavior, but he must be treated as a child regardless. It is the least we can do. A disciplinary action of some sort that is humane but firm, I would support. I do not at this time feel the need to kick him out just yet. Just my two cents on the subject.

something a bit strange as been done .... bodygurd is back on the guild ..... but don't speak of him to anyone ... people have to forget him ... he may in OR out harm at the guld recruitment (as the guild's name is known ....)

Being the noob of the guild but not an entirely inexperienced player, every game has immature people of pretty much all ages. I think perhaps (oh man here we go)... some sort of disciplinary code might be adopted. Make it simple (don't be a jerk, don't use foul language any language... we've got quite a multicultural group), but perhaps a warning for bad behavior, then a "3-strikes" type of thing. If a member doesn't learn their lesson, then boot them. We don't want to be known as jerks.

Everyone can vote on it then hold everyone to it equally, not giving breaks for age or lack thereof.

Forko, Bodygurd got kicked out a second time, and there are no plans to reinstate him. I appreciate that you're willing to give some one another chance, but when asked to apologize for his behavior, he not only refused, but bad mouthed the officers that asked him to apologize, and swore at them too. He refused to try to correct the behavior and got upset that some one might want to hold him accountable. For now, the consensus is that we don't want Bodygurd in La Horde.

Well now... very interesting thread. I do think something more than an "unspoken play nice" code might be in order though. If a player is a jerk to his own Guild brothers, then that's probably someone who doesn't need to be a member anyhow. I would say if he's been kicked twice, then that's that. He's had his second chance.

I think that we all agree with this , officers like members !! that's whyhe isn't in anymore ..

Forko, I suggested the same kind of thing awhile back when this whole thing went down. I think there definitely needs to be some sort of code-of-conduct for the guild. Also, I think we need to find a way to evaluate players before signing them up. I personally won't recruit anyone not guilded just to bulk up the roster. While I'm in game, I watch how people play and chat. I think this guild has great people in it and I look for more of the same.

All great ideas. Sort of like a fraternity. We didn't bid guys just to populate our frat, we looked for the right people who would contribute something.
