The ascendant

I am planing on killing every ascendant I need to, for the quest...

BUt many of them are too tough for me ... for example the wizard casted her firts spell when I got rid of half of her hp .... - 50k HP .. I only have 47 ....

SO I am calling for some help to finish that quest! .. thank you

You need to get yourself some Chasm gear. The mag resist will help with some of the spells, but more importantly, it gives 250 each to Body and Strength for each piece. Getting a complete set of Chasm gear will push your health up a LOT. Another trick to use, is to stay back and let the pet tank. Mine can take a level 100 wizard, taking the nukes, and lose less than half his health. Of course, mine is using Chasm, so it will have a lot of health, but pets in general have lots more health than players.

BTw : how many pieces are there in that set, and are them all dropped from the jakreth chasms ?

okay thank you Kage, there are 6 pieces in fact : The shield, the arms, the greaves, the boots the chestplate and the gloves.. thank to Bat I got them all quite fast

but I had one last question for you : should I use the gloves or should I keep the blighborn ones for the melee haste ? without them I ahve about 500 magical and physical resist non buffed...

You've got plenty of mag and phys resist, and all the melee haste you'll ever need from your buffs. The only thing that matters is the actual stats, that is body, str, mnd, etc. Chasm beats Blightborn by a long shot on that alone. Stick with the Chasm.
