| I created a chart that compares the stats of the different animal armor sets. Enjoy.

| That's brilliant! Nice one, Ernie. That's also the last time I wear a Fox suit. Not only is the colour aweful, but it hardly helps any of my primary stats at all! | |

| Bear rocks, but it's sooooo ugly. How is an assassin supposed to hide in the shadows in day-glo yellow?? | |

| ah the eternal war between Style and efficency...does one look good or does one do ones job at its peak.
to answer this question you must ask WHY one wants to look good.
to look good is to attract a MATE. to be good at your work also attracts a mate BUT since we bipeds seem to be visually orientated, looking good beats out working good in most cases.
BUT since (in this world of Mirth) this world is so dangerouse, the look gooders sooner or later (usually sooner)get eaten, burned up,zombified, electrocuted, mind controlled of a ciff, eaten by magical parasites and shot full of arrows.
so....it seems to me only the UGLY bipeds get to breed....

| LOL Deci...well said. However, I've found that badger is close enough in stats to bear to be an acceptable downgrade in the name of fashion. Not that I think badger is all that attractive, but it's a whole lot better than neon yellow.
The problem I'm facing next is I'm about to hit that magical lvl 40. Now I have a ton of armor choices. No idea what to do then. I think I'll let the female guildies dress me.
Ladies...suggestions???

Looking at the other thread where you describe your style of combat, I would suggest Bison or Bear, probably Bison. You use spells only until the mob aggros you, then you focus on melee combat, so I would go with that which helps melee combat, as your style doesn't need nearly as much mana as a Kiter would.

| What about a ranger/rev/shaman? Bear looks attractive, but incredibly difficult for me to get (jumping zones so often: I usually see fox and scorpion where I hunt) Where should I get the Bear armor? | |

| Which Bear set? The mobs toward the bottom of that page will drop the bear armor. | |

| if you cast a lot and attack melee too the elephant set can be really good too ... but for it's really difficult to get it .. it's one of he most difficult set to get | |

| I've fiddled with the base armor chart. I don't know about the differences with chain vs. plate where available, or on robes vs. chain, but I did gin up an excel spreadsheet that makes it a bit easier to see by level. The graphs help quantify the bonuses a bit so you can compare combat vs. move vs. casting... now how do I upload it? | |

| It's best to look for a file hosting sight such as Image Shack. Upload the file there, then post it here. If it's a sight that only does photos (such as imageshack) you may have to screen shot the graph, then upload the image. | |
